This Little Piggy

My daughter decided that her favorite beanie baby, Bridget the cat, needed a Halloween costume. So she took a cheap stuffed pig that she won at the boardwalk this summer, cut the back of the neck open and pulled out all of the stuffing, and then put her beanie baby inside the pig skin. I wasn't sure if I should be horrified or really impressed with her creativity. I'm pretty impressed, actually. She did a great job. Maybe next year she can make her own costume!

I'm hot... can I take this off now?

I did well today. I had a light breakfast & lunch, and pierogies with sauteed onions for dinner. What's the difference between sauteed onions and stir fried onions? I was trying to log it into my diet app, and I decided since I generally am not a fan of things stir-fried, my onions were sauteed.

I haven't run in two weeks because of my shin splints, but I've been doing the elliptical machine to keep my cardio up. But I'm really going to stink up the joint at this race on Saturday. I can't believe it's Saturday! I remember when it was months away! Eeeek!! It's a good thing it's a Halloween race, because it will be pretty scary!

I'm sad about the Phillies loss, but no fair-weather friend am I. They had an AWESOME season, and I'm really looking forward to next year! Good job, Phils!!!!!
