No sweets in November

You heard me.

None. Zilch. Nada. (isn't that a light chicken gravy?)

Okay, not nada. I will have one piece of birthday cake on my birthday, and then that's it. No more sweets until December 1. That means:

1. No leftover Halloween candy

2. No stealing candy from the kid's trick-or-treat bags

3. No pie on Thanksgiving (that's right)

4. No soda, hot chocolate, or fancy sugary coffee drinks

5. You get the picture. No sweets.

So, Anyhoo, my "not sleeping, stressed-out, crazy lady" week helped me to gain back one pound. Actually, that's not so bad, I really thought it was more. That means that my total weight loss so far is 8 pounds. 35 to go. Sheesh, 35 pounds. That's how much my 4-year-old weighs. I have to lose a 4-year-old. No wonder running is hard! I'm carrying a preschooler around with me!

I'm going to do this. Right? Right????
